You’re in good hands with board-certified gynecologic surgeon Dr. Wesley Anne Brady and her team of medical and aesthetic professionals.

What Is a Vampire Facelift?
A vampire facelift is a cosmetic procedure that combines your body’s platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with dermal fillers to restore volume, improve skin texture, and enhance facial contours. The treatment stimulates collagen production and rejuvenates the skin, helping you look more youthful without surgery.
You may have heard of a vampire facial, which also uses PRP, but these two treatments serve slightly different purposes. A vampire facial only focuses on improving skin texture and tone, whereas a vampire facelift also uses dermal fillers like JUVÉDERM®.
What to Expect During a Vampire Facelift
Before the vampire facelift begins, we’ll cleanse your face to remove any impurities. Once prepped, we’ll start the treatment:
- Blood Draw: The procedure starts with a simple blood draw, like a routine medical test.
- PRP Preparation: The blood is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is packed with growth factors that heal and rejuvenate the skin.
- Numbing: While the PRP is being prepared, we’ll apply a topical anesthetic to keep you comfortable.
- PRP Injection: The PRP is injected with a fine needle to add volume, improve skin tone, and reduce fine lines.
- Dermal Filler: We inject a hyaluronic acid filler, like Juvederm, to restore volume and shape as needed.
Post-Procedure Expectations and Recovery
After the vampire facelift, you may have some redness and slight swelling. This is part of the healing process and should subside in a day or two. While most patients can return to regular activities the next day, you’ll need to protect your skin from the sun and wear sunscreen.
Over the next few weeks, your skin will become smoother, firmer, and more radiant as collagen production increases and the dermal fillers take effect. You should see full results in six to twelve weeks, and those results can last up to a year or more!
