As women age, they may have difficulty achieving an orgasm, or they may experience less frequent orgasms during intimacy. This can be the result of tissue aging in the vagina, around the G-spot, and around the clitoris, all of which can lead to decreased sexual sensation.
The O-Shot® is a non-invasive, non-surgical approach to helping women have orgasms more easily and more often. Women’s Wellness Institute of Dallas frequently provides the treatment to patients who are sexually healthy and in happy relationships but who want to recapture the sensation and drive of their younger years.
The O-Shot is an injectable treatment administered to restore the sexual tissues. Dr. Brady, the medical director of our office, is a board-certified cosmetic gynecologist and sexual health expert with over a decade in practice. Her practice has performed O-Shot treatments for hundreds of Dallas women, assisting them in restoring their bodies and improving the quality of their sexual experience.
How the O-Shot Works
The O-Shot relies in part on advanced treatment and techniques that are currently being used to address concerns ranging from knee injuries to hair loss. Doctors introduce these treatments into the body to promote the formation of new skin and tissue.
Each O-Shot is personalized for every individual patient using their own bodily fluids, meaning there is an extremely low chance of a negative reaction. After preparing the application, Dr. Brady injects the O-Shot in a fast and virtually painless process, where the mixture can then begin its work in the body.
As the O-Shot begins stimulating the body’s natural healing processes, the patient may begin to experience a number of benefits, including:
- Reduction of urinary incontinence.
- Improved sensation in the vagina and surrounding areas.
- Better chance of orgasm.
- Decreased vaginal dryness.
Best of all, Dallas patients won’t experience any downtime after the procedure. They’ll even be able to have sex the same day if they so choose.

The Initial Sexual Consultation
During a patient’s first visit to Women’s Wellness Institute of Dallas, we will have a professional and open discussion with her about the symptoms that she has been experiencing and the benefits she wishes to achieve. Dr. Brady will also perform a medical examination, and together, we will go over the treatments that are appropriate for her needs as well as detail about the cost of treatment.
O-Shot can be an effective option for women who:
- Are having difficulty reaching climax.
- Are unable to orgasm as often as they had in years past.
- Are sexually healthy but want to take the sensation of sex to a higher level.
We will frequently see Dallas women who have been married for 20 years, who have a great relationship, but who are frustrated by how long it takes for them to achieve orgasm.
In some cases, patients will require a combination of approaches to get the biggest benefit from the O-Shot. For example, Dr. Brady may advise treatment with both O-Shot and BioTE® natural hormone replacement, or she may recommend other treatments to improve vaginal health, dryness, or incontinence.
What to Expect with the O-Shot
Patients will receive treatment at Women’s Wellness Institute of Dallas. We can often give an O-Shot on the same day as the initial consultation.
Welcome. A visit will usually last about 40 minutes. We will invite the patient into our treatment room, where the process will begin with a standard blood draw. This step will allow us to collect the growth factors for creating the patient’s O-Shot.
O-Shot preparation. Next, we will transfer the blood to our centrifuge. The results from any of these advanced treatments, whether it’s for cartilage restoration or oral surgery, depend on the quality of the equipment.
Higher-grade machines make it possible to spin out and separate a larger number of growth factors. Women’s Wellness Institute of Dallas uses a hospital-grade Harvest centrifuge to give our patients the best results possible.
Application. Patients will receive a strong numbing ointment on the vaginal opening, the anterior wall of the vagina where the G-spot is located, and the clitoris. We gently make injections into each of these areas. The experience is mild enough that patients can return to their regular activities immediately after the visit. There are no restrictions following an O-Shot.
Our patients can expect to see the full results of their treatment within three months. Their tissue should become healthier and more sensitive, and their sexual response should be more easily triggered. Most of the women we treat come for follow-up injections with the O-Shot every six to eighteen months, with the majority coming in closer to once a year. Patients may require up to three O-Shot treatments to achieve their desired results.
Common Questions About the O-Shot
Am I a good candidate for the O-Shot?
In general, women who are sexually healthy but who want to improve their ability to climax and the frequency at which they experience an orgasm are good candidates for the O-Shot.
Does getting the O-Shot hurt?
Getting the O-Shot is, surprisingly, not painful. The blood draw that we perform is a standard draw, no different than most women have experienced many times in their lives. Women’s Wellness Institute of Dallas uses a powerful numbing ointment in every area where a woman will receive an injection, and because we perform these procedures on a daily basis, we are extremely skilled and careful in our approach. Most patients tell us that they don’t even feel the vaginal injections, and they are surprised by how little they feel the injection around the clitoris.
How long will the effects last?
The duration of the benefits that a patient gets from the O-Shot depends a lot on her body. We find that the more treatment a woman receives in a given area, the healthier the tissue becomes, so it’s important to keep that balance to maintain the results. Repeated treatment over time will help patients learn the duration that they can expect.
The O-Shot offers a non-surgical, no-commitment option for women who want to orgasm more easily and more often. To learn more about the treatment, contact Women’s Wellness Institute of Dallas online or by phone at 214-544-9146.
How Much Does The O-Shot Cost
While the procedure is mostly standardized, slight variances in how the shot is prepared and injected can alter the final cost. However, most women can expect to pay between $1,500–$2,000 for their individual O-Shot. We provide, included in the price, a specially formulated numbing cream to every patient to apply prior to arriving for the procedure to ensure little to no pain during the injection.
What are the restrictions and instructions after my procedure?
Upon scheduling, we will instruct you on complimentary numbing cream application that we will request you pick up from our office prior to your appointment.
O-Shot should not be used on patients who are pregnant, nursing, trying to get pregnant, have experienced hypersensitivity in the past, those who have severe allergies, and should not be used in the areas of active inflammation or infection (cyst, pimples, rash) or blood borne infection.
After your procedure, you may experience mild redness, swelling or numbness for up to a week. Real results can be expected at around 4 weeks (after all swelling is resolved). You can return to sexual activity the night after your procedure, and we recommend you do so since results can be noticed this soon after the treatment. However, full results are enjoyed after a 3 month period.
